Meanwhile, VC Javed Ashraf refuting the allegations said the ASA people wanted undue promotions. Regarding his role as VC, Asharf said that during his 41 months at QAU, the university has continuously moved up in the rankings. “We have been named the top university in Pakistan, counted among top 500 in the world (the only Pakistani university to earn this distinction) and 79th in the Asian Rankings.”
