The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari said that Raza Rabbani during his Senate chairmanship kept on ignoring constitutional violations of Nawaz Sharif which is why they seem to enjoy good companionship.

Talking to media after meeting Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Zardari said that the decision for chairman Senate will be taken after consultations from all allies. “We will see how we can accommodate Balochistan. The decision for Senate chairman candidate will be taken by chairman Bilawal Bhutto since we have our winning vote”

He added that people of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were claiming their majority counting on members outside their vote bank. “PML-N will now have a different perspective,” he said adding that Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was made the deputy chairman because he is a Baloch.

"The politics puts you on trial and it is time that we see its hardships. In the past three years, Raza Rabbani ignored several constitutional violations of Nawaz Sharif. Rabbani also did not bother to address our reservations over the 18th Amendment, which is why he is good friends with Nawaz Sharif," he added

CM Balochistan Abdul Qudus Bizenjo thanked Asif Zardari for his visit and said that he had requested him to support their political stance. “One who reaches out to your home deserves greater respect,” the CM said adding that they will support Zardari in whatever decisions he takes.
