Police arrests seven persons out of 70 people who did biometric checks

SARGODHA: The police claimed to have arrested seven outlaws, including two proclaimed offenders from Bhera police limits on Wednesday. A police spokesperson said that during ongoing operation against criminals the Bhera police team, headed by SHO and other law enforcement agencies, conducted search operations in Chak Mubarak, Dhall, Chawa and Nabha. After biometric checking of over 70 people, the police arrested seven persons. They were identified as Muhammad Mustaqeem, Muhammad Akhtar, Khizar, Muhammad Din, Ikramul Haq, Muhammad Ramzan and others. The police have registered separate cases against them. Meanwhile, the police also nabbed nine drug pushers and seized narcotics and illegal weapons from their possession. A police official said the accused were identified as Ali Raza, Abdul Jabbar, Ghulam Abbas, Qandeel, Shafqat, Mohsin, Ejaz, etc. The police confiscated three kilogrammes of hashish, 550 grammes of heroin, three pistols, two rifles and three guns.
