LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-i-Azam (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain has alleged that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has made the worst ever pre-poll rigging plan. This time the ruling party has used bureaucracy to get delimitation of their own choice.

The PML-Q leader said on Tuesday that nearly 30% impact of delimitation takes place before elections. “If delimitation is done by the PML-N ‘servants’, then their candidates will win 2018 general elections while sitting at their homes,” he remarked.

He underlined that electoral reforms are inevitable prior to holding of general election otherwise rigging masters will win again. Shujat highlighted that as per the Constitution of Pakistan, new delimitation can only be done after official announcement of population census results. However, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has done delimitation on unofficial results.
