Academic achievement: PU faculty lauded by HEC

HEC awards Punjab University faculty

LAHORE: The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan awarded Punjab University faculty members with best university teacher and best research paper. According to a statement released on Monday, Chairperson Department of Zoology Dr Javed Iqbal Qazi received the Best University Teacher Award. Chairperson Department of Information Management Dr Kanwal Amin and Associate Professor Institute of Applied Psychology were given the Best Research Paper Award separately. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zakria Zakar congratulated the faculty members on their outstanding achievements. PU College of Pharmacy also held its fifth annual convocation ceremony. Senior faculty members as well as a large number of students and their parents attended the event. Principal College of Pharmacy Dr Nadeem Irfan Bukhari said that the college was providing the best teaching and research facilities to students.
