LAHORE: The ruling PML-N’s big win in the Senate elections was not expected at all. The party has gained a majority in the upper house, and increased its possibility of forming a majority in the lower house of the country again as well. One among the many reasons for the party faring better than expected is possibly the court verdicts against it, which has given birth to a pro-PML-N sentiment in the country.
