Golf: Woods drops to eighth

LONDON: Tiger Woods’ slide in the rankings table continued this week as the former world number one slipped to eighth behind England’s Paul Casey who moved up one.

Englishman Lee Westwood replaced Woods at the top of the table on October 31 and since then the American has been struggling to pick up pace. Woods is set to return this week at the Players Championship in Florida.
