Hockey: Bajwa vows strict action

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Secretary Asif Bajwa has said that strict action will be taken against the clubs and women athletes who had faked their ages in the under-18 National Women Championship which resulted in Pakistan pulling out of the Asian Hockey Federation Cup.


Bajwa said that clubs will be asked to provide proper identification documents.

Meanwhile, the PHF has imposed a two-year ban on six players including Ishrat Abbas, Nazia Rehmat, Nafeesa Anwar, Ahnazza Bashir, Nimra and Hina Pervaiz along with team manager Razia Malik and coach Mohammad Pervaiz for encouraging the players to fake their ages.
