KARACHI:
Saba Qamar and Ahsan Khan-starrer Moomal Rano, previously titled Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani, will finally see the light of day after being in the works for three years.
The 90-minute film is an Indo-Pak collaboration helmed by Sirajul Haq, written by Zafar Miraj and produced by Zee Network. It is based on the Sindhi folktale Moomal Rano and will be screened at the upcoming Pakistan International Film Festival (PIFF).
Moomal Rano was earlier curtained at multiple global film festivals, including the Jaipur International Film Festival 2018 and the Wollongong Film Festival 2017.
It features Saba and Ahsan, who were last seen together in Dastaan, in lead roles alongside Hussain Qadri, Asad Qureshi, Salman Saeed and Zainab Jameel.
The film is rumoured to release in cinemas and local TV channels soon, following its screening at PIFF.
