While chairing a meeting to review performance of Academic Audit and Registration Wing on Friday at TEVTA Secretariat on Friday, TEVTA Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said the authority was striving to maintain the standards of technical education in the country at par with international standards.
He said the meeting that registration of 53 colleges was cancelled previous year for not keeping up with the standards of the TEVTA. These colleges included private, semi-government and government institutes.
The action was taken on poor infrastructure, outdated syllabus whereas the conditions of labs were also not upto the mark. Qaiser said TEVTA would maintain and enhance the standard of education at
all costs.
