The inauguration ceremony for the squadron took place at PAF’s Base in Quetta where air chief Marshal Sohail Aman was present as the chief guest.

The base squad graced the PAF chief with guard of honor. While speaking at the event, Sohail Aman said that the peace-loving nation of Pakistan was well aware of the nefarious plots of its enemies.

“Our determination will remain unshaken” he said, “We aspire for regional peace’

Last month it was a landmark occasion for PAF as well as the whole nation, when the indigenously produced JF-17 Thunder shot down a slow speed target with BVR (Beyond Visual Range) and IR (Infrared) missile with a pin-point accuracy at Sonmiani firing range.
