Gen Qamar meets army veterans in Karachi

Army chief to visit Karachi Corps Headquarters tomorrow where he will be apprised on the current security situation

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa interacted with army veterans in Karachi on Wednesday, a statement issued by the military's media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief will visit Karachi Corps Headquarters tomorrow (Thursday) where he will be apprised on the current security situation of the metropolitan city.

Speaking at the Karachi Corps Headquarters on May 7 last year, Gen Qamar reiterated that efforts would continue till restoration of complete normalcy in Karachi and the rest of Sindh, the ISPR said in a statement.
