"Commander lauded effective and professional response of Pakistani troops to unethical Indian Cease Fire Violations (CFVs) which are causing loss of life to innocent civilians," the military's media wing added.
The instances of ceasefire violations by the Indian forces recorded an alarming increase since the start of February, following which the AJK government has readied evacuation plan.

As latest, ceasefire violations from the Indian side were reported from Battal, Rawlakot, Kotli and Khuiratta sectors.
Unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India has been continuing since last year as Indian forces opened fire more than 1,900 times.
In 2018, Indian troops committed more than 150 violations, prompting a befitting response from the Pakistani side.
