Karachi ready for PSL final: Sindh Local Government minister

Jam Khan Shoro says they’ll do all to make the landmark event a memorable one

Sindh Local Government Minister Jam Khan Shoro was briefed about preparations for the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to be held at the National Stadium of Karachi (NSK) on March 25.

During the meeting at NSK, Mayor Karachi, Commissioner Karachi, MD Solid Waste Management Board, MD Water Board, Chairman DMC East and special secretary technical, along with other officials were present.

“The purpose of the committee formed on the instruction of Sindh Chief Minister, is to provide all felicities to the citizen during the final match in Karachi,” said Shoro. “We will do everything to make this event a successful one.”


He further added that cleaning up the roads, providing water, making proper lines for sewerage and also to arrange transport to and from stadium is the prime focus of the committee.

“The preparations inside the stadium are almost done. PCB and NLC has worked together to complete this on time and the last phase of the renovation will be completed till March 15,” he said. “There is another ground being prepared inside the premises of NSK, which is also near to its completion.”

He said the routes for the teams from airport to hotel and from hotel to stadium are being decorated, while the shuttle service for the public will be available from Mazar-e-Quaid, Aladdin Park and near PAF base.

“We are trying our best to make this PSL final a memorable event in Karachi,” he said. “Till March 25, a meeting will be held twice a week where the committee will be briefed about the preparations.”
