LAHORE: Member of the ICC Elite Umpire’s Panel Asad Rauf visited the ongoing summer camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore to brief participants on the laws of the games.

He delivered a lecture that highlighted the Umpire Decision Review System as well as the regulations that govern the game. The emerging players in Pakistan hailed the move by the PCB and the lecture by Rauf by the PCB as a useful one. “It was really a useful lecture,” a group of players at the camp told The Express Tribune. “We learnt a lot from the him and it has made us aware of new things.”

According to the NCA Director and former Pakistan coach Intikhab Alam, “such lectures are to increase knowledge of the players so that they are equipped with the latest rules when they take the field in the international arena as representatives of their country.”
