Addicts’ rehabilitation: Bugti assures all NGOs of protection
Home minister says it is our responsibility to educate youth and protect them from all kinds of evil

Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that the government will provide security to all non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working for the well-being of citizens in far-flung areas of the province.
“Drug addicts are a financial burden on their families and demoralise the values of society,” the home minister said while addressing an event organised by an NGO called Insaniyat Bachao on Thursday.

Information Secretary Tayyab Lehri, DGPR Director Shahzad Farhat Jan Ahmad Zai, Head of Insaniyat Bachao Organisation Dr Mohammad Ramzan, other social workers and officers were in attendance.
The event was organised to mark the success of rehabilitation process initiated by Insaniyat Bachao organisation.
Till date, 920 drug addicts had been treated and were leading a normal life.
Home minister Bugti said, “Youth are the future of the country and it is our responsibility to educate them and prevent them from all kinds of social evils.”
