A Chinese company, Kingho Group, has expressed interest in investing in the Thar coal and energy project, according to an official statement here on Saturday.
A 14-member delegation of the Kingho Group called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the CM House. Participants of the meeting said an evaluation committee had already cleared the scheme and a draft for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was being prepared by the Sindh Government and Kingho Group. The draft will be finalised in the meeting of the Thar Coal and Energy Board that will be held on May 11.
