Daycare centre to ease worries of working parents
CM’s adviser says parents can go to work without looking over their shoulders

A daycare centre for children under-seven and above six months was inaugurated in order to facilitate the working parents.
Adviser to Balochistan Chief Minister on Finance Dr Ruqayyah Saeed Hashmi and Dr Manoj Kumar inaugurated the Day Care and Pre-School Centre at the Pishin Stop on Tuesday. MPA Walim Barkat, Quetta Press Club President Razaur Rehman and others were also present on the occasion.

The staff gave the dignitaries a tour of the centre.
Well-trained instructors and teachers to look after and educate the children were hired. Latest toys to aid in better physical and mental development of children were at the centre, while a curriculum was designed to impart preliminary education.
Hashmi said, “The daycare centre will provide relief to the working parents who are unable to stay with their children. Since long there was a need for such a facility and now parents can go to work without worrying about their children.”

She said, “If suggestions for a public daycare centre come up, the government will consider them.”
Taking over the dais, Day Care and Pre-School Centre Founder Shaheena Khan said, “We have inaugurated the centre to facilitate working women, who have a hard time leaving their children at home.”
Khan said, “Nowadays, children adapt very quickly to the changing environment.”

The centre would provide education to the children according to the modern era as well as equip them with self-defence lessons, she added.
Each class would have 20 children. Health, hygiene and provision of nutritious food would be ensured at the centre, while staff for cleaning milk bottles of toddlers had been hired. Warm environment would be provided to the children.
