A police officer told The Express Tribune that a girl* had approached the Phandu police station with a complaint against Asher and Shahab.
She said that she had befriended Asher on the social media network Facebook. They used to chat on the built-in messenger service in the network.
“The boy often called her and soon Asher started inviting his friends Shahab, and another unidentified friend for their call,” officials said while quoting the complaint. “[The boys] threatened to kidnap her if she did not send them her pictures which she did resulting in blackmail,” the police officer said.
