New Course: UoG set to launch Pharm-D
The Pharm-D programme, is welcomed by all public quarters as an attempt to cope with health care problems in Pakistan
GUJRAT:
The University of Gujrat (UoG) is set to launch a five-year degree programme Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) and BS Mechanical Engineering under the faculty of Engineering and Technology. UoG Vice Chancellor Dr Ziaul Qayyum gave the go ahead for “immediate implementation of the projects at the 10th academic council meeting held at Hafiz Hayat Campus. The Pharm-D programme, which had been proposed by Dean Faculty of Science Dr Muhammad Faheem Malik at the previous meeting of the council, is welcomed by all public quarters as an attempt to cope with the health care problems in the country. After the endorsement, committees had been formed for compilation of report on technical and other requirements for accreditation of the programme by Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
