According to police officials, an accident occurred between a coaster and a harvester on Depalpur Road on Thursday night.
Rescue 1122 officials said that a coaster was on its way when it collided with a harvester travelling from the opposite direction near Bahmni Bridge on Depalpur Road.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the coaster, Muhammad Ashraf, received serious injuries and died on the spot, while 20 passengers were injured.
The injured were rushed to the DHQ hospital and are currently in stable condition.
Police officials have filed a case and are investigating the incident.
