Changing seasons: Students celebrate spring at UMT

LAHORE: With the ban on Basant, students at University of Management and Technology (UMT) took to the varsity ground to celebrate the onset of spring in an event called Wings and Wheels on Thursday.

The show was inaugurated by the UMT Director Ibrahim Hasan Murad and the Head of Participant Affairs Khalid Naqvi. Renowned actor and musician Ahmad Ali Butt joined in on the festivities.

Murad said that UMT has always promoted a healthy and vibrant culture on its campus which demonstrates their commitment towards delivering quality education alongside recreational activities.

He said learning without sports and other activities isn’t resilient and long-lasting.

He urged students to take an interest in sports and to make the best use of their free time in order to keep themselves fit and healthy.
