While Anushka Sharma looked absolutely stunning on her wedding with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli in December last year, the actor is back in a completely different avatar for her upcoming venture Pari.

The trailer was just launched and Sharma’s character might haunt you for the rest of your life. Possibly playing a psychopath in the film, the actor manages to scare you in the first 30 seconds of the trailer.

Followed by a series of creepy dialogues and hideous figures, it becomes clear that there is definitely some kind of bad omen surrounding Sharma.

Some scenes from the trailer look very similar to Insidious and Sharma hanging upside down from the window frame in one of the scenes is sure to give you cold feet.

Adding to claims that it’s a horror movie, the trailer also suggests that it’s ‘not a fairytale’ – adding a little bit of the romantic element and making it different from the conventional horror movies.

The colour grading used adds to the horror element ending with Sharma’s beaten and bruised face – much like the poster of Mahira Khan’s Verna – except a lot more gruesome.

With the film slated to release on March 2, it’s time to gear up for some goosebumps.

I will keep my fingers crossed about this given the past history of this actress in particular and horror movies in general. Recommend
