International Islamic University inaugural ceremony commences

An Arabic Resource Centre was inaugurated on Wednesday at female campus of the International Islamic University (IIUI). Begum Shaheena Abbasi, wife of the Naval Chief, performed the inaugural and announced Rs100,000 for the centre. The centre will teach for Arabic phonics, reading and writing skills, Arabic comprehension and grammar and creative writing in

audio visual classes. Begum Abbasi said that promotion of Arabic was a Constitutional responsibility. She added that inclusion of Arabic language as compulsory subject at school level can help in introducing students to religion and history in further efficient manner.
