Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has said that the entire nation is together for restoring peace and stability to the province, assuring that the resources available will be used for the collective good.

“Sacrifices of our security forces will not go in vain. We are aware of issues and we will spend all the available resources on public welfare,” said the chief minister on Wednesday while addressing a ceremony to inaugurate Saylani International Trust in Bolan Medical Complex.

Provincial ministers Sarfraz Khan Bugti and Mir Abdul Majid Abro, MPAs, advisers and other dignitaries attended the ceremony. Saylani Trust founder Bashir Ahmed Qadri was also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Bizenjo applauded the efforts of the Saylani trust and urged the business community to support their cause.

"Earlier I had decided not to receive salary, but now I have decided to donate my salary to Saylani welfare trust," he announced.

The CM said that serious steps had been taken for solving people’s problems. “The provincial government will utilise all available resources for public welfare,” he said.

Speaking on the occasion Qadri, the Saylani trust founder, said that nearly 1,25,000 people were being benefited from the trust on a daily basis, costing more than Rs10 million a day.

"We will feed 20,000 people in five hospitals of Quetta daily, and services will be extended to other districts of Balochistan", said Qadri.

He informed the audience that the Saylani trust was providing services in 60 different sectors, adding that relief projects were underway in Thar to overcome water and food shortage.

“More than 100 new RO plants are being installed,” he said, adding that the trust was also focusing on feeding the homeless.

“With an estimated monthly expenditure of more than Rs30 million, the trust provides food twice a day to more than 30,000 people through its 100 centres,” he said.
