LAHORE: A full bench, headed by Justice Abdul Sami Khan of the Lahore High Court (LHC), fixed March 7 for further proceedings on a petition filed by former Inspector General of Punjab Mushtaq Sukhaira challenging summons issued to him by Anti-Terrorism Court in a private complaint filed by Pakistan Awami Tehreek  (PAT) against Model Town massacre.

The former IGP had challenged the notices of ATC in the LHC that had been issued directing him to appear before the ATC in private complaint.

Sukhaira's counsel contended that two FIRs had been registered in Model Town incident, while the former IGP was not nominated.

He said that his client was nominated in private complaint after 21 months of the incident. He raised objection that former IGP was not heard in ATC but summon notices had been issued for him.
