LAHORE: The Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) has embarked upon a programme to set up a chain of industrial estates throughout the province and the first will be set up in Rahim Yar Khan.
According to a statement issued on Friday, PIEDMC has already acquired 455 acres of land for Rs240 million.
About 20,000 jobs will be created directly with the setting up of more than 300 medium and large industrial units.
