Ban on Padman

Published: February 14, 2018

KARACHI: Authorities in Pakistan chose to ban the Indian film Padman for focusing on an issue that affects half of the world’s population. Where content as purposeless as mindless comedies are screened and are available on various media platforms, the ban on the film is unjust and makes no sense. It is about time that natural issues like menstruation were discussed without being considered as a taboo in society.
