Imran sees NA-154 defeat an opportunity to learn

Following PML-N's victory in the Lodhran by-poll, PTI chairman Imran Khan said every setback is an opportunity to analyse one’s mistakes.

Imran tweeted that successful people, institutions and nations always learn from their failures.

For all Insafians who are feeling dejected after NA154 result, every setback is an opportunity to analyse one's mistakes, correct them & come back stronger. Successful people, institutions & nations learn from their failures.

According to unofficial results from 338 polling stations, PML-N's Iqbal Shah bagged over 116,000 votes.

PML-N turns the tables on PTI in Lodhran by-election

PTI candidate Ali Tareen followed behind with more than 91,000 votes.

The NA-154 seat fell vacant after Jahangir Tareen disqualification for being "dishonest".

bilal | 6 years ago | Reply Pathetic comments. Tareen 1 electable was fighting against 3 electable and he lost. Nothing more to it. PTI had nothing to offer the remaining electable as they are not in power. PTI just needs to do proper planning in each constituency when the final election comes and ensure that Imran Khan wave starts and peaks at the right moment.

Yaser Arafat | 6 years ago | Reply This is important to learn by leader than followers. This defeat clearly conveyed a message that your narrative declined by common people. You can de-seat someone based on technical grounds but cannot seat someone on the same ground. The other one message inheritance politics although bad but do not work in every case. The leadership should revisit their approach that must be positive.

Zahid | 6 years ago | Reply It's Imran Khan's right to act optimistic but the writing on the wall is clear. Politics of allegations, indecent words and lies has been rejected. He could prove nothing in KPK that has rampant corruption and misuse. With such a sullied and 2nd hand team, his is a lost cause.
