The provincial health department and the authorities concerned must order a probe into the matter
MULTAN: According to a news report, unavailability of ventilators and the available ones being out of order in Nishtar Hospital in the city of Multan has been the primary cause of deaths in Multan due to N1HI virus. The same source states that the hospital administration instead of getting the ventilators repaired, borrowed ventilators from other departments and the shortage of which led to the death of patients. The provincial health department and the authorities concerned must order a probe into the matter and take action against the responsible.
