Enhancing Exports: Pakistan needs to focus on quality

Quality control and product standardisation can take Pakistani exports to Italian markets

LAHORE: Pakistan has a huge potential and capability to increase exports to Italian markets by ensuring quality control and standardisation of products. Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Director General Mian Riaz Ahmad stated this while talking to Livia Casagrand, an executive of Texmode, Italy. The DG apprised her of the possibilities of enhancing bilateral trade between the two sides. She said Italian markets offered a lot of business opportunities for the Pakistani products, adding female entrepreneurs of Pakistan could take benefit of Italian markets through exhibition of their products, but they needed proper guidance and support.
