Starts Rs780m project for distribution of date, seedless kinnow plants

ISLAMABAD:
The Technical Advisory Committee of the Board of Directors of Agricultural Linkages Programme (ALP) of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) approved on Wednesday 28 projects of different technical divisions. PARC Chairman Yusuf Zafar presided over the 40th meeting of the board of ALP to evaluate the project proposal for funding, a press release said. The meeting accorded approval for these projects aimed at promoting and developing the agriculture and livestock sectors of the country. The objective of ALP was to promote and support agricultural research and development activities in accordance with Pakistan’s long-term development goals and to promote long-term scientific cooperation between Pakistan and the US.
