Bribe: MEPCO SDO arrested

MULTAN: The Federal Investigation Agency-Punjab chapter on Thursday caught red-handed a sub divisional officer of Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) taking a bribe in return for installing an electricity transformer at a rest house. FIA-Punjab had received a complaint from the owner of the rest house that SDO Ghulam Yasin was demanding Rs10,000 to install a transformer at the facility. A raid was carried out on Thursday at the time the owner had called the SDO to collect the bribe.
