LAHORE: Anti-terrorism court judge Sajjad Ahmad granted the three-day physical remand of Imran Ali, the alleged rapist and murderer of eight minor girls in Kasur.

The judge has granted remand of the accused in the rape-murder cases of Kainat, Laiba, Eman Fatima, Noor Fatima, Tehmina, Ayesha and Asma. He is already on remand in the Zainab murder case and he will be produced before the court today after completion of a fourteen-day physical remand.

It is pertinent to mention here that this remand includes the Eman Fatima rape and murder case in which Punjab police had already killed one Mudaasar in an encounter.

The police produced the accused before the court on Tuesday and sought his physical remand on the pretext of investigating other rape and murder cases. The court, after hearing the police’s plea, granted physical remand of the suspect for three days.
