Time will prove I'm target of a vindictive campaign: Nawaz Sharif

Former deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif stated, the public has denounced his disqualification and time will prove him as the victim of a targeted campaign, Express News reported.

According to Express News, Sharif met lawyers and his party workers at Punjab House Islamabad. The meeting was also attended by Maryam Nawaz, Ameer Muqam, Mariyyum Auranzeb, Asif Kirmani, Hanif Abbasi, Saud Majeed and Musaddaq Malik.

The meeting discussed legal points pertaining to his appearance in the accountability court apart from his campaign to engage public through political rallies.

“We have always served the country and will continue doing so,” said Sharif as he congratulated party members over the successful rallies in Peshawar and Muzaffrabad.
