The Higher Education Commission (HEC) at a ceremony here on Thursday awarded cash prizes and performance based sports scholarships to the outstanding players of the 31st National Games 2010 held in Peshawer.
This was the 6th cash prize ceremony arranged to recognise the student players who won medals during the games and honour their achievements. Member of the National Assembly, Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan was the chief guest on the occasion while the HEC Chairperson Dr Javaid R Laghari was the guest of honour.
Twelve teams of HEC / Pakistan Universities Sports Board, including 10 men and two women teams, participated in the 31st National Games. As per results of the Tabulation Committee announced in closing ceremony.
