Elite force officials held for allegedly assaulting women
The RA Bazaar police arrested two elite force officials on Thursday for allegedly assaulting two women and snatching cash and cell phones from them. The police are also searching for three other officials involved in the incident.
Earlier, the victim women lodged a report with the RA Bazaar police against Noshad , Farhan and three other accomplices for assaulting and looting them. The police registered a case against five officials and apprehended Noshad and Farhan ( alias Sunny). Investigation is underway from the
nabbed men.
The victims earn Rs300 per day for distributing pamphlets. On Thursday, they were distributing pamphlets in Tench Bhatta area of Rawalpindi when Noshad allegedly offered them Rs500 per day for the same work. The ladies accepted his offer and reached at an address given to them by Noshad. The men took them into a room and allegedly
assaulted them.
