Doubts surround Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez’s inclusion in the squad for the FA Cup final, confirmed club manager Roberto Mancini.
Tevez, who suffered a hamstring injury during the 3-0 defeat to Liverpool last month, was initially expected to return in time to face Stoke at Wembley on May 14. However, with City having only two games to restore Tevez’s match fitness, Mancini has made it clear that Tevez will either have to play against Everton tomorrow or Tottenham on Tuesday in order to be part of the FA Cup final. “It is very difficult for him to play against Everton and if he doesn’t play against Tottenham, it will be impossible for Carlos to play in the final,” Mancini said.
