QUETTA: Adviser to Balochistan Chief Minister on Excise, Taxation and Transport Mir Abdul Karim has urged all lawmakers, including MNAs and MPAs, to put original number plates on their vehicles in pursuance of Balochistan High Court decision.

According to a handout issued on Friday, he said that in this regard, Balochistan High Court had warned that if anybody was found violating the order action would be taken against them.

After two years: Excise dept resumes issuing number plates

The minister said MNAs and MPAs of Balochistan should display their official number plates on vehicles which were allotted to them by official departments, instead of displaying fancy ones.

He hoped that ministers, MPAs, MNAs and VIPs would act upon the decision of the Balochistan High Court.

The minister said that he has issued directives to authorities concerned to take action against those who would not display original number plates on vehicles for ensuring implementation of the Balochistan High court verdict in the province.
