QUETTA:
Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has directed deputy commissioners of each and every district to hold open katcheri on a weekly basis to address problems of the public.
"The deputy commissioners shall tackle matters of district level while public inquiries on provincial level shall be forwarded to the provincial government with advice," said the chief minister.
Bizenjo for eliminating joblessness, poverty
Applicants, including women, students and disabled people from different areas of Balochistan, appeared at the Chief Minister Secretariat in Quetta when a weekly open katcheri was being held.
The Balochistan CM received a large number of applications and issued orders on spot.
"Addressing common people's problems has been our priority since we took over. Our motive is to benefit public in every sector in the limited time we have," CM Bizenjo said.
Bizenjo vows credible security after Quetta atrocity
He urged that provincial government to insure utilisation of public resources with honesty as Balochistan has to bear more burden than its resources.
The Balochistan CM directed the provincial ministers and secretaries to respond on emergency basis and improvise every possible way to provide relief to the masses.
Bizenjo assured that all the applications would be properly analysed and instructions would be made accordingly.
Open katcheri, which is one the key steps taken since the change of command in the province, at CM Secretariat is held every Friday on the direction of Bizenjo.
