One of the accused in Asma Rani murder case, Sadiqullah was presented before a civil court on Friday.
According to DPO Kohat Abbas Majeed Marwat, one 30 bore pistol, used in the murder, was recovered after the accused informed Kohat Police of it during the interrogation. The weapon has been sent for forensic examination to match with the empty shells recovered from the crime scene.
The court has sent suspect to police remand for three day.

Sadiqullah has been identified as an accomplice of Mujahid Afridi who shot the woman dead on January 27 after she reportedly turned down his marriage proposal. Rani, a third year MBBS student in Ayub Medical College, had named Afridi as her killer in a statement before her death.
Meanwhile, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police have formally requested the Interpol Riyadh to arrest Mujahid Afridi, main accused in the murder. The Interpol was approached through the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), with the request to help find the accused so that he can face a trial in Pakistan.

Rani was on vacation in her hometown Kohat when the incident happened, Kohat Development Authority police station SHO Gul Janan said.
When she and her sister-in-law reached home on Saturday, Mujahid, accompanied by his brother opened fire at her as she got out of a rickshaw and fled the crime scene, the police official said. She was shot thrice and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died on Sunday, SHO Janan said.
Police had lodged an FIR in the case on the complaint of Muhammad Irfan, Asma’s brother.
A special investigation team was also formed under the supervision of DPO Kohat to investigate the murder. “Investigation is being conducted along modern lines and the accused will soon be arrested,” he added.
