Rescue workers and law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies and the injured to Nawab Shaheed Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital, Mastung for medical treatment. Doctors referred two of the injured to Civil Hospital Quetta for their critical injuries.

“The car carrying passengers from Quetta was travelling to Karachi when it rammed into a passenger coach in Mastung,” said Deputy Commissioner Salahuddin Noorzai. ”Emergency was declared at the memorial hospital after the accident, while all the injured were shifted to civil hospital on time.”

Mastung is notorious for fatal road accidents as hundreds of passenger coaches departing from Quetta to Karachi on a daily basis are indulged in over-speeding and reckless driving.
