Sports made part of police training

LAHORE: Sports have been made a mandatory training module of the Punjab Police for promotion of healthy activities and encouragement of players. This was stated by Pakistan Police Sports Board Director General Tariq Masood Yaseen as he spoke to officials at the Central Police Office on Thursday.

He said expert instructors of different games should sharpen the abilities of players, enabling them to compete in international competitions. He added that a comprehensive plan on a regional level should be formulated and competitions should be conducted to provide an opportunity to players.
