KARACHI: Bollywood A-lister Alia Bhatt made the perfect bridesmaid on her best friend, Kripa Mehta’s nuptials.
From apt colour choices to swoon-worthy outfits and jewellery pieces, she made quite the fashion statement on every occasion. Here’s our pick of her best looks during the wedding madness.
1. Picture perfect in yellow
PHOTO: INSTAGRAMThe Dear Zindagi startlet was a ray of sunshine in a voluminous anarkali outfit from designer Manish Malhotra. The floor-length yellow ensemble was cinched at the waist, featuring intricately embroidered floral details and fell loose to the ground. Silver chandbalis completed her look. Alia further accessorised her look for the day with a tiny black bindi and left her hair open with side-braids.
2. Shining in silver
PHOTO: INSTAGRAMExuding glitz and glamour, B-town’s cutie made a strong case as she stepped out in a heavily embellished contemporary silver-on-silver lehenga choli for her best friend’s wedding reception. Designed by Koëcsh by Krésha Bajaj’s recent collection, she paired her jora with a sheer dupatta that comprised sparkly silver embellishments.
Heavy mascara and nude lips – we are a big fan of her makeup choices. Oversized silver earrings and a matching maang tika from Amrapali Jewels and a silver bag added to the finishing touches.
3. Pretty in pink
PHOTO: INSTAGRAMOn another event, the maid of honour kept away from the traditional look and opted for a peach Gauri & Nainika dress for the polo brunch. The off-shoulder mini dress boasted of minimal floral embroidery and frill details – making her look perfect for a sunny afternoon.
Minimal gold stud earrings and a beige fascinator were suitable accessories for the occasion. She went for baby pink lips and tied her hair in a neat updo.
