Facilitating people: Public Safety and Ride app introduced

PSCA has introduced an android mobile phone app with the feature of women safety

LAHORE: Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has introduced an android mobile phone application “Public Safety and Ride” on Monday. The application will help people in safe journey.

PSCA Media Manager Haroon Yousaf said people could use the application for reporting a lost or found item while travelling. Besides, he added it was also equipped with the feature of women safety and traffic police.

Yousaf maintained that by using the women safety feature, the users could get help in reporting cases of harassment and abuse, while the traffic police feature could be used to get guidance about traffic situation and routes.

He remarked the application and its features had been carefully designed with a user-friendly interface that lets anyone report any lost or found item by giving in basic information and pictures.
