Green revolution: Solar tube wells to be installed soon
The provincial government would soon install solar energy tube wells in active collaboration with China.

The provincial government would soon install solar energy tube wells in active collaboration with China for providing maximum relief to the energy crisis-hit growers and farmers, informed Punjab Provincial Minister for Food Chaudhry Abdul Ghafur. He disclosed this while talking to the newsmen here, where he further said that the sole aim of installing solar tube wells was to pave the way for bringing in green revolution , besides, boosting the agriculture sector in Punjab. He stated that one million tractors would also be given to the growers and farmers under the Green Tractor Scheme.
