Sukkur Chamber President said unrealistic/hidden export taxes should be stopped

As per the directions of the Ministry of Commerce, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) organised a Stakeholder Consultative Session for Strategic Trade Policy Framework (STPF) 2018-23 at Sukkur. Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industry president along with members of the export committee, members from Khairpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, traders, exporters and growers of Sukkur region participated in the stakeholder consultative session. TDAP Karachi Director Muhammad Farooq Memon gave a detailed presentation regarding 'Strategic Trade Policy Framework'. He discussed in detail the objectives of STPF 2018-23 and reasons for outreach exercise in Sukkur. Also addressing the session, Sukkur Chamber President Abdul Fatah Shaikh said that in order to maximise the exports of Pakistan, it is necessary that the government may control the unnecessary imports of Pakistan and unrealistic/ hidden export taxes may also be stopped.
