Speaking on the occasion, ICCI President Sheikh Amir Waheed said Dacheng Dentons should bring well-established companies of China to enter into sustainable JVs and partnerships with Pakistani counterparts in the nine SEZs. He said by investing in Pakistan, the Chinese would be able to produce competitive products and promote exports to South Asia, Middle East, and other regional markets.
Waheed said the ICCI was planning to set up a CPEC Facilitation Center and Dacheng Dentons should join hands with it to promote business collaborations between the SMEs of China and Pakistan.
He said the ICCI was negotiating with the government to establish a SEZ in Islamabad on public-private partnership model.
