PESHAWAR: Following directions from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief secretary, the Elementary and Secondary Education Department has started ethics sessions for students at schools all over the province.

The Elementary and Secondary Education Department (E&SED) has directed all schools to conduct assembly presentations every day on ethics.

Among others, the E&SED hopes to use these sessions to create awareness about respecting the elders, observing hygiene, abiding by the law and following traffic rules apart from taking steps against abuse.

“We have directed all schools to conduct debates and speeches by students on a daily basis. This will not only help raise awareness amongst students but also improve the communication and presentation skills of students” said K-P E&SED Director General Rafiq Khattak.
