Five die in separate incidents
Deaths reported in different districts
SARGODHA:
Three people, including a child, were killed in separate road mishaps in Bhalwal and Sahiwal police limits on Monday. Police sources said that Saqib Raza s/o Mirza, a resident of village Salum, was driving a motorcycle on Bhalwal road when another motorcyclist Iftikhar s/o Aslam, coming from opposite direction, collided with him near Salum Interchange. Both suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. In another incident, a speeding truck hit Shahzad Ahmad, 6, death while he was crossing the road near Adda Shaikh Jalil at Jhang road. Moreover, two labourers were killed in during stone cutting in Sillanwali police limits. PAnother labourer, Muhammad Imran, was fixing blast material in Chak 123/SB when boulders fell on him, killing him on the spot.
